How does my Rental Home service work

When you move to the city of Groningen and are looking for a rental home to stay, I can help you with this. Whether you are newly moving to the city, or whether you are already living here. This is how it works in a nutshell:

– We start with an exploratory conversation by telephone. You tell me about yourself and what you are looking for. Also, I will give you information on how the process works in more detail.
– If we both decide that we want to work together, I will send you a form to fill in and a downpayment invoice, after which we start your rental search.
– Matching your wishes as closely as possible, I will look for housing options.
– I contact my large network of brokers and real estate firms and do my utmost best to find a selection of possible places for you.
– We will view homes together, or I will do this for you when you are still abroad via an online viewing through a video phone call.
– When a suitable rental home is found, and the broker and rental owner choose you as their tennant, I will help you review the contract.
– If you like, I can arrange energy, internet and television connections for an extra surcharge.
– Also, when you rent an unfurnished place, but you like it to be furnished, I can arrange this for you via an external furniture rental specialist. They will charge a monthly ammount for this, depending on the size of your rental property.
– At the official checkin moment, when the place is yours, I will be there to inspect your home and to explain how certain things work.

What does my rental service cost?

The cost for my rental service matches one month rent of the rental home that you will live in, with a minimum fee of €1.000 euros. Also, 21% VAT will be charged, which I will need to pay to the Dutch tax authorities.
